Introduction to Webinars

Note: a webinar is a cross between a seminar and a web-based activity.

On July 29th - immediately following your workshop with Jon Bowdery we will introduce you to the use of virtual classrooms for our continued conversations.

During the webinar we will explore together the examples and guidelines provided for students by the QUT eportfolio project. You will be able to use voice, text and other collaboration tools whilst in the webinar to ask questions, make comments, share experiences, and take notes.

Skype and Elluminate Live

Below is some information and instructions on downloading, installing and using two of the most common communication tools for webinars: Skype and Elluminate Live. Please consult with your IT support staff for help and administration of this process.
