Project description:


This blended and facilitated, self-paced and online assignment (currently under collaboration) provides an introduction to electronic portfolio development. During your assignment you will also be provided with 'e-mentoring' to support the development of a personal or professional e-portfolio as an exemplar for your own students. The four steps to creating your eportfolio are:


  • collecting - identifying, creating and storing all artefacts in one place
  • selecting - choosing key materials that showcase your abilities and use this material for various purposes
  • reflecting - thinking critically about your learning experiences and drawing connections between the learning and its application
  • connecting - using your eportfolio to make connections between your team, your work place and your learners; and encouraging your team, work colleagues and learners to connect with you during the construction of your eportfolio

Project professional development:


During the project you will be provided with three main components of professional development to assist you in the process of e-portfolio development:

  1. E-portfolio : knowledge gathering, sharing and managing [workshops, webinars and e-mentoring] - Mentor: Carole McCulloch
  2. E-portfolio : produce and prepare photo images [hands on workshops] - Tutor: Jon Bowdery
  3. E-portfolio : author interactive sequences [hands on workshops] - Tutor: Troy Crawford
