Getting started in Skype!

• Step 1: Download Skype from http://www.skype.com/intl/en/
• Step 2: Get a Skype account - choose a Skype identity and a password that you'll remember (write them down)
• Step 4: Activate your account
• Step 5: Upload your image to your profile in Skype
• Step 6: Add me as a contact (select add a contact and key in my Skype identity - coach.carole )

On Tuesdays at 4.00 pm, open your Skype account and wait for me to invite you to a text chat. This is what your Skype window will look like when you're in the chat, only we'll have several people, rather than just one. You can key in your messages at any time to join the conversation. You can also show some emoticons to represent emotion and you can share files with those in the chat. It can be a very valuable online communication tool for group meetings and tutorials.
