Text books on Eportfolios!

This book was mentioned today as a resource to help shape the thinking about reflection and metacognition:
Smart Thinking: developing reflection and metacognition by Jeni Wilson and Lesley Wing Jan. This book is available from Curriculum Press.

Smart Thinking
A few sample pages from this book were provided at Curriculum Press, so I've included them as attachments at the bottom of this page.

I was searching online for some shared resources about eportfolios in Victoria recently and came across these two that were presented at the ConVerge conference in December 2007.

1. RMIT - Rubrics for Eportfolios

2. Swinburne - using Eportfolios in WebCT

3. Elearning Eportfolios - from an eFellow 2008

Sharing Resources:

1. Sites for Google - an easy way to share documents with a group - http://sites.google.com/site/sites/ (see below for a tutorial)

Sharing Blogs:

Allison Miller, National Manager for e-portfolios, Australian Flexible Learning Framework, has begun her ep blog here:

Allison also shares here bookmark tags for eps in this one: http://delicious.com/imillera/e-portfolio

Sharing Wikis:

Annelieske Noteboom from Challenger TAFE has recently shared their wikispace for the Eportfolio project team in Western Australia.
Check this out at: http://challenger-eportfolios.wikispaces.com/

Note: a nice piece of sharing between us and them appears in their Case Study page - thanks Marie.

Sharing del.icio.us bookmarks:

I recently created a del.icio.us tag category called ccportfolio to which I'm now happily adding useful links to directly using my recently installed del.icio.us toolbar. It makes it so easy now. I open up a URL relating to eportfolios etc that has been sent to me or I've found in someone else's del.icio.us bookmarks, Save it to my Delicious account and into my ccportfolio tag and I can then gather up everything and paste it here as a link for you.
